As a supporter of Breast Cancer Care, I would like to encourage anyone with a place in the London Marathon 2002 to run and raise funds for Breast Cancer Care.
Last year, Breast Cancer Care had their most successful London Marathon ever, raising over £78,000 this year we're hoping to do even better, with your help.
Breast Cancer Care relies on funds to be able to provide free and confidential information and support to over half a million people each year who are coping with the impact of breast cancer.
If you have got a place in the London Marathon, and are interested in joining Breast Cancer Care's Marathon team, or even if you haven't got a place, but would be interested in receiving an activity fundraising pack (for information on parachute jumps and whitewater rafting), contact the Events Team on 020 7384 4621.
With recent figures showing that nearly 40,000 women are diagnosed with breast cancer each year, making it the most common cancer in the UK, the demand for Breast Cancer Care's services has never been greater. Please take on a marathon challenge and help make a difference.
For any breast care concerns, phone Breast Cancer Care's free helpline 0808 800 6000 open Monday to Friday 10am-5pm and Saturday 10am-2pm or visit www.breastcancercare.org.uk
