Phoenix Brass would like to thank everyone, including the Gazette who has supported the band in any way throughout the past year.
In particular, I would like to extend my sincere thanks to the members of the Friends of Phoenix who have continued to work tirelessly in the interests of the band, willing to assist behind the scenes at the many varied concerts and engagements in addition to their fundraising activities.
Thank you to all the parents who have assisted with transporting the numerous younger players to many of the venues throughout the past 12 months.
With the band securing engagements across many counties, the band appreciates their valued assistance in conveying the musicians to the many destinations.
During the past year, the band has been pleased to support many charities, both national and local.
Through the support of the players, more than £5,000 has been raised for charitable causes
Last, but not least, a very big thank you to all the musicians who, with their dedication and strong commitment to the band, have provided so much pleasure to so many people, both young and old, throughout 2001.
A J Miles
