WHEN Kelli Salone agreed to appear on TV's Would Like To Meet she was hoping to find love.

But she hadn't reckoned on a cameraman being the object of her affection.

It's now almost seven months after the couple met and Kelli, 31, and boyfriend Oscar Challis, 32, are still smitten.

Talking at her home in Hannington, Oscar and Kelli seem like the ideal couple.

They share a love for sport, in particular mountain biking, which is a hobby they both pursue even on Christmas Day. And this year was no different, except the pair will be together.

Kelli, now a sales rep, said both sets of families were meeting each other for the first time over the Christmas period.

The couple hit it off straight away, but had to keep a low profile while filming was still in progress.

The first official night out saw them eating at a Vietnamese restaurant in Hexton, London, which according to Oscar is a very trendy place.

He is currently working on a Talkback production, Property Ladder, which will air later in the New Year. He is based in London, while Kelli's offices are in Cambridge, although she says her days are very flexible.

Kelli said: "I only need to go back when I change my stock samples, but am thinking of changing careers soon anyway. I'm quite interested in being an estate agent.

"Oscar and I have got better with being apart from each other but it was very difficult at first. If we haven't seen each other for five days I get quite agitated.

"But I don't want to move from Swindon. I love it here."

Oscar is also taken with Hannington village but needs to be where the work is, and at the moment that is London.

He said: "After this contract has finished I might consider leaving London and moving in with Kelli. It's such a fantastic antidote to the city.

"I live in a two bedroom flat surrounded by concrete and Kelli has a three bedroom house in the middle of the countryside."

Kelli also feels sentimental towards her house since it is where she grew up. Instead of selling, she has decided to add extensions to the tune of £60,000.

She said: "I'll definitely have to look for another job to keep up with the mortgage repayments when it all goes through.

"Oscar and I have also planned to take a few holidays next year, including a cycling tour in Europe."

The couple have not yet decided what New Year's Eve holds but Kelli says one thing is certain they will be kissing under the mistletoe at midnight.

A Would Like To Meet special which updates viewers on participants in the series will be aired on December 27 at 8pm on BBC2.
