A RADIO charity appeal has raised more than £88,000.
More than 700 different lots were auctioned off during the mammoth 17-hour auction on GWR FM.
Now the station, based in studios in Wootton Bassett, is looking to give away the money.
The proceeds from the appeal will be shared by local charities.
Community groups and organisations should apply for a share of the cash pot now.
Jackie Kent, appeals manager for the GWR Community Trust, said the money will be distributed in accordance with trust objectives.
She said: "These are to foster and promote the advancement of education, the relief of poverty and sickness and general empowerment of people with a disability."
She added that the trust would also consider any other charitable groups which have a positive impact on the lives of people living within the stations transmission area.
That includes Swindon and surrounding towns and villages in Wiltshire.
Ms Kent said GWR is keen to support the work of existing charities as well as encouraging the launch of new ones.
All applications must be submitted on a GWR application form before January 31.
Grants will not normally be given for running costs or to individuals.
Phone 01793 842600 or email trust@gwrfm.musicradio.com for a grant application.
