Villagers in Holt have found an ideal way to deal with those Boxing Day blues: a game of boules.
More than 130 people turned out on Holt village green for some post-Christmas fun.
The event began around eight years ago when the traditional Boxing Day wheelbarrow race began to flag.
Organiser John Palmer was delighted with the support from the village.
He said: "It's just a bit of fun aimed at getting the villagers out for a bit of fresh air.
"There is nowhere quite like Holt for this sort of thing.
"It's not a twee place, it's a real community that gets out and does things.
"We had a record entry of 32 teams taking part this year."
After the boules match spectators were entertained by the village's own dancing group, Holt Morris Men.
