Swindon Supermarine have been hit by the prolonged loss of goalkeeper Paul Haines ahead of tomorrow's trip to Weston.

Haines was knocked out during last Saturday's clash with Shepshed and the shot-stopper was taken to hospital with concussion. He will be absent for the foreseeable future.

Haines is the only senior keeper on Marine's books, so Murphy has moved quickly to secure the services of Stephen Benbow, on loan from Division Three side Cheltenham Town.

Benbow, 19, is fourth choice keeper at Whaddon Road, and has not been playing competitively. The youngster was thrown in at the deep end during the derby at Chippenham on Boxing Day.

Murphy is pleased with the temporary acquisition, but has highlighted the need for a long-term competitor for Haines' shirt.

One of Murphy's long-term targets is promising Bath City keeper Liam Bull.

Bull who has England Youth honours has requested a move from Twerton Park, and rumour has it that Murphy has made advances.

Opponents Weston, who are now managed by former Forest Green boss Frank Gregan, are fast emerging as title dark horses and will pose a major test.

Marine (probable): Benbow Dunton, Jennings, Beaverstock, James, Jack Donnelly, Bennett, Knight Macklin, Hulbert

Tommy Saunders will hope his side can return to winning ways tomorrow, when his Bluebirds face the Swifts of Stourport.

The Chippenham boss was fuming with his players after a lacklustre performance in the 1-1 Boxing Day draw with Supermarine.

The Town supremo accused his players of overindulgence over Christmas, branding them a "disgrace".

Chippenham will be without centre-back Shane Andrews who is suspended. Rob Skidmore will make a rare start in defence.

Fellow stopper Nathan Rudge is struggling with a non-alcohol induced illness, but the influential youngster will be forced to play. Mark Harrington and Danny Hunt are still sidelined with injuries.

Chippenham will go top should they win and Halesowen lose their tricky game at Atherstone.

Probable Chippenham side: Weaver Vickerman, Dicks, Skidmore, Rudge Woods, Rawlins, Charity, Brown Bent, Tweddle

Cirencester Town come out of Christmas hibernation to host Bedworth tomorrow.

Ciren were without a game on Boxing Day, when their scheduled clash with Cinderford was frozen off.

They are without Nathan Holt (rib), though Dave Gee and Jimmy Carter are set to return.

Probable Ciren side: Sawyer Gee, Minturn, Richardson, Wollen, Blastland Terry, Horgan, Miller Carter, Godley.

Devizes Town face the stiffest of tests in the Screwfix Premier Division tomorrow when they host Vase holders Taunton.

Melksham Town face an easier prospect, as they travel to Barnstaple.
