Refuse collections will not be disrupted by the New Year bank holiday. Those who were due to have their rubbish collected on Christmas Day or Boxing Day should put their bins out on New Year's Day or Wednesday, January 2, when a double collection will take place.
The household recycling centre at Barnfield Road is open every day between 8am and 4.30pm.
