Police tailed a car after a number of forged £20 notes were passed at businesses in Marlborough last week.
The car was stopped by officers from Pewsey at Oare and two men were arrested.
A father and son from London were were charged with issuing counterfeit currency. They have been released on bail and will appear in court later.
