Devizes Town are fast becoming the bogey side for all Screwfix championship chasers.
Brian Newlands' men who have beaten title hopefuls Dawlish and Bideford recently secured the biggest scalp of all when they beat FA Vase holders Taunton 3-2.
Devizes grabbed the advantage just before the break, when veteran Barry Flippance slotted home.
Reigning champs Taunton levelled within minutes of the restart, Newlands' men regained the lead thanks to goalkeeper Paul Thompson.
The shot-stopper's 65th-minute penalty was his fourth goal of the season, with three of them coming from the spot.
Former Chippenham striker Flippance then rolled back the years once more to rattle in the third, and although Taunton grabbed a late second, Devizes we not to be denied.
Town boss Newlands certainly enjoyed his first win over the Somerset giants.
He said:"We thoroughly deserved to win. We played really well, and bounced back in style after the Boxing Day defeat to Melksham.
"We've got nine points out of 12 over the holiday period, and considering who we've played, we've got to be happy with that."
Premier Division Melksham could only claim a point at lowly Barnstaple.
Matty Bown's late volley earned Robbie Lardner's side a 1-1 draw.
In Division One, Corsham managed to grind out a 1-0 victory at Chard thanks to John Freeguard's 61st minute goal.
Calne Town slumped again though, losing 3-0 at Bitton.
