MATT Heywood is looking forward to tangling with Colchester United at Layer Road tomorrow and helping push Town towards the top half of the table.
The 22-year-old wants to make sure it is a happy start to 2002 for Town and their supporters.
He said: "We beat them in the league and I think we have to go there confident of doing the double.
"I know we lost there in the LDV but no disrespect we had a very different side out that night.
"Psychologically, it would be a real boost to see our name in the top half.
"You just want to see the gap between you and the bottom four sides growing bigger.
"It takes the pressure off a bit but let's just concentrate on Colchester."
Heywood felt Town were full value for their win over Bury on Saturday.
He said: "Even though you're 2-0 up you have to keep focused.
"They pulled one back and if they'd got another then you're talking about a totally different game.
"But I thought we deserved to win the game and didn't cause us too many problems.
"Bury are a physical side but I felt we more than matched them.
"We took the chances when they came our way, something we didn't do against Bournemouth.
