MELKSHAM Town returned to winning ways in the Premier Division with an impressive 3-0 home win over sixth-placed Dawlish Town at The Conigre on Saturday 16 March.

Matty Bown set the home side on their way with the opening goal and former Chippenham Town winger Nick Tiley doubled the Melksham lead on the stroke of half time.

Matty Messenger atoned for an earlier miss with the third goal in the final minute.

Westbury United, Melksham's opponents in last night's Wiltshire derby clash, remain at the foot of the table after suffering their 11th defeat in 13 away outings this term at Team Bath.

Goals either side of the break from Lee Richardson and Danny Sullivan put paid to the visitors' hopes. Derek Graham's side are five points adrift of the safety line with 11 games left.

Warminster's goals against tally now reads 102 from 28 matches after a 2-1 defeat at home to Ilfracombe. Nick Potter scored a late consolation goal on his debut for the home side.
