UPAVON professional Richard Blake has finished top of the Wiltshire PGA Order of Merit after the final match of the Winter Series at Kingdown Golf Club on Thursday.
Blake, who is also the Wiltshire PGA secretary, could only manage an eighth place finish at Kingdown but managed to hold off the challenge of Broome Manor's Steve Robertson to clinch the overall top spot.
Ian Ferrie followed up his second place finish in the penultimate round of the Winter Series at North Wilts last month with victory on Thursday.
The Bowood professional carded a two-under-par score of 70 to finish two shots in front of nearest challenger Dave Hutton and clinched the £100 winners cheque.
Blake's Upavon clubmate Richard Mortimer finished level with Robertson and Gary Sawyer in third place after shooting a 76, while North Wilts' Graham Laing finished on 78 to secure joint sixth spot in the overall standings.
Ferrie, who finished fourth in the Winter Series despite missing two of the five events, also took first prize in the team event together with fellow Bowood man Paul Stonham.
