SKURRAYS WILTSHIRE LEAGUE: TROWBRIDGE Town will be looking to put their last outing, a 2-1 home defeat against Purton Reserves, behind them when they host Melksham Reserves at their Woodmarsh ground this weekend.
Town, who have dropped to fourth from second since Christmas, are still gunning for runners-up spot and will be keen to get back on the winning track to utilise their games in hand.
Said manager Alan Roberts: "We were flying before the Christmas break, but since then we've lost our continuity. We're still creating chances, but we've also lost our composure in front of goal.
"Our chance of winning the league has gone, but we can keep going for second spot. It would be a shame if all the players' efforts before Christmas went to waste."
Paul Shanley is away watching friend Steve Lee in the Irish Snooker Masters. Andrew Gold and Mark Connors are also unavailable for tomorrow's game.
Striker Jerrard O'Pray should return, Adam Sheppard is expected to take over between the sticks.
Trowbridge were without a game last weekend, their pitch waterlogged.
Bottom club Cricklade earned their first Premier Division win since December when beating visitors Biddestone 3-2.
Second-placed Wroughton lost 1-0 to strugglers Aldbourne, a Danny Morton penalty decisive.
Leaders Shrewton United kept up their relentless pursuit of the title with a 5-1 win over Purton Reserves.
Devizes Town Reserves ended Bradford Town's unbeaten run, completing a league and cup double with a 3-1 win.
