Conservative MEP for the South West of England, Neil Parish, was due to visit Swindon today (Friday).
Mr Parish is the Conservative spokesman in the European Parliament on Agriculture and Fisheries, as well as a member of the committee holding an inquiry into the outbreak of the disease in Britain last year.
Mr Parish will be meeting with local farmers to hear their concerns. He will also visit the Front Garden development site, before meeting with officers from Swindon Council.
