James Potter (Evening Advertiser, March 18) berates the lady motorist who was "chased" by a biker for, as he speculates, "cutting him up or pulling out in front of him".
Might I equally speculate and suggest that perhaps the biker was not wearing high visibility reflective clothing, which made him difficult to see, and whatever road traffic misdemeanor she may or may not have committed, she felt genuinely intimidated by the biker's actions in pursuing her halfway across town in what she felt to be a threatening manner.
The fact of the matter is that neither Mr Potter nor myself were at the scene, and therefore any speculation is entirely superfluous.
Not knowing how the motorcyclist might react if she did stop, I do not blame her at all for not doing so.
