The Women's Branch of the Worker's Educational Association has launched its new summer programme of courses for women, including confidence and assertiveness, an introduction to counselling skills, self defence and Egyptian dancing.
The first course starts on April 9 and prices start at £3. Women on benefits can register for any course for £3. The courses are informal and supportive, and there are no exams. The group is based at the Health Hydro in Milton Road. Call Swindon 618233.
