PUPILS at Kingsdown School took a day out from normal lessons to learn all about healthy living.
Students aged from 11 to 16 learnt about everything from the dangers of alcohol and drug abuse to dealing with stress.
Forty students from the Stratton St Margaret school spent the morning at the town centre Boots store to learn some health tips and the Body Shop paid a visit to give advice on aromatherapy.
Meanwhile, Trax Gym put some of the pupils through their paces with a workout.
Gerry Cranfield, assistant headteacher, said: "It was a very positive day. A lot of the students were amazed how much they learnt, particularly about the dangers of drug taking."
The initiative is part of the school's on-going drugs awareness programme, which has been all the more bolstered following the death of 13-year-old pupil Krystle Chilcott, who died after inhaling body spray.
