EASTER fever is already sweeping Swindon with eggs and Easter bunnies galore.
Taking a step back in time, a Dinosaur Egg Trail is afoot at Swindon Museum and Art Gallery. Fearless hunters searched the museum high and low to find the 12 dinosaur eggs and claim a chocolate prize.
James Allen, 11, from Faringdon, said: "It was very interesting learning about all the dinosaurs. I wonder if chocolate existed all those years ago."
Josh Lewington, seven, from Old Town, said: "I hope I get a chocolate egg as big as the dinosaur eggs. I'm really looking forward to Easter."
The prehistoric fun continues until April 7. Easter antics were also underway at Lydiard House in West Swindon.
Budding Easter bunnies scoured the house for a variety of egg cups, hoping to clinch a sweet surprise.
Festivities for train fans were in full swing at the Steam, Museum of Great Western Railway, over the weekend.
Thomas the Tank Engine and the Fat Controller were out in force, much to the delight of young train spotters.
Face painting, story telling and competition trails were just some of the activities laid on for locomotive lovers.
