One reason why the Steam Museum is not attracting enough visitors is the same reason why Swindon Town Football Club are not getting enough supporters it is too expensive.
If they cut the entrance charge by half they would probably increase attendance three-fold.
Visitors to Swindon having to drive under the Rodbourne Road railway bridge, which is narrow, rusty, run down and dreary looking, will think twice about stopping at the museum.
A coat of paint and a large museum sign would also help.
