Environmentalists from Wiltshire Wildlife Trust have held a meeting with Swindon officials to discuss the possible ecological impact of the planned development of the Front Garden area.
South Swindon MP Julia Drown and local councillors were among those present at the talks, which covered various issues.
such as the presence of water voles near the site of a proposed canal. The Front Garden is the green pocket currently bounded by Swindon to the north and the M4 to the south.
