PURTON: Year seven pupils at Bradon Forest School have raised £900 for charity LEPRA, the Leprosy Relief Association, which helps fund research into the disease.
Charity representative Mary Wiggins was presented with the cheque from a group of students who learned about the work of LEPRA in countries such as India, Nepal and Brazil. Pupils carried out their study as part of personal and social health education.
Ms Wiggins said: "I really enjoyed meeting and talking to such a responsive and animated group of youngsters."
