ALL eyes will turn skyward at Lydiard Park when Swindon Kite Festival takes place on the weekend of May 11 and 12.
White Horse Kite Flyers group is organising the event, and is inviting everyone interested to come along and join kite flyers from the UK and USA.
Last year's event was cancelled due to foot and mouth.
Displays this year will include kites large enough to lift a man, Indian fighting kites and sport kites.
Also children can bring along their teddy bears and have them parachuted.
There will also be various stalls, with a children's kite workshop, kite traders and food stalls.
The White Horse Kite Flyers organised the first Swindon Kite Festival in 1991. The show is back in Swindon after several years of being held at the Science Museum at Wroughton Airfield. Entrance is free.
