Pub Rock Day organiser Alan Dainton is organising a third event in Pewsey on May 25, following the success of the previous two.
Although he is no longer landlord of the Coopers Arms which he ran for 16 years, Mr Dainton, former Pewsey sports centre manager is still organising the event. He said: "It has grown to be very popular and we hope that this third Pub Rock Day will be even more successful than the two previous ones."
The afternoon and evening of rock 'n' roll will begin at 1.30pm when the Worried Men take to the stage in The Crown in Wilcot Road.
At 2.30pm bands will play at six other venues with repeat performances until 4.30pm. The bands are: Trouble in Mind at the The Greyhound in North Street; Skeeters at the Moonrakers in High Street; Pronghorn at Alfreds in High Street; local band Jowdi at the Football Club; John Fenlon Blues Band at the Coopers Arms and the Oyster Opera trio at the Tennis Club.
In the evening Morganfield will be playing at The Greyhound, Skeeters at the Moonrakers, Almost Innocent at Alfreds and the Innes Sibun band will be playing at the Coopers.
Rover tickets to cover all venues will cost £10 with tickets for individual performances £4 (except Oyster Opera which will be £5). Tickets will be available from all the participating pubs and clubs.
