BIG match nerves seemed to have got the better of Godolphin's young cricketers as they arrived at Lord's on Saturday for the final of the National Indoor Six-a-side competition.
Defeats in their opening three games against rival qualifiers from Kent, Middlesex and Yorkshire, ensured the Godolphin squad, representing Wiltshire, faced an uphill battle after the lunch break at the home of the English game.
However, an emphatic victory over Middlesex provided some magical memories for the girls who then began to show the form that had steered them to the finals in an unbeaten seven match run.
