A PILOT scheme to make coaches more accessible to wheelchair users has been launched in Wiltshire.
The trial has seen National Express introduce a coach with wheelchair access on its Bath to London service.
Wiltshire County Council has designed new bus stops indicating where the bus lift will open, using green markings on the pavement.
Wheelchair access is available at Box, near the railway bridge; Rudloe outside Rudloe Hall Hotel; the Sainsbury's stop at Chippenham; and outside Chippenham Tourist Information Centre in Bath Road.
Tickets should be booked at least a day in advance. For information call the National Express Additional Needs Helpline on 0121 423 8479.
