FOUR members of Zion Baptist Church, Trowbridge, are tackling an anthem usually sung by 100-strong Welsh male voice choirs.
The quartet all church deacons will sing Morte Criste, a version of When I Survey the Wondrous Cross as part of the Easter Sunday services at the Union Street church.
Pianist Heather Skull said: "You're more likely to hear this sung by choirs, because it's one of those really rich, harmonious pieces which the Welsh do really well.
"Sadly, we've only got a small congregation, but these four men are really good singers and we're happy to have a go. It's a tremendous hymn and a tremendous tune and it's going to be sung as the finale of our services on Sunday evening.
"It's also a chance for people to come along and sing their favourite Easter hymns and remind themselves that this weekend isn't just about chocolate eggs."
