MOTHER-OF-TWO Alice Isaacson has appealed for the return of irreplaceable family photographs stolen in a burglary at her home.
Ms Isaacson returned to her home in Victoria Road, Devizes, last Tuesday evening to find thieves had used the key she kept under the front door mat to let themselves in.
They ignored the TV, video and hi-fi, and stole a gold-coloured baby show trophy, a filofax-style diary and a collection of personal photographs.
She said: "I know it was stupid to leave the key where it was and I shall never do that again. The key is still missing so I have had to change all the locks.
"What is really heartbreaking is losing those pictures. I would like to say to anyone who took them I would like to have them back. I am even prepared to pay a reward."
Anyone who saw anything suspicious take place in Victoria Road between 6.30pm and 7.30pm on Tuesday March 12 or who comes across the pictures should contact Devizes police on (01380) 722141.
If anyone finds the pictures or the other items they can drop them into Devizes police station, the Gazette in Devizes Market Place or phone Ms Isaacson on (01380) 727268.
