CHILDREN from Court Mills Pre-school in Trowbridge held a special Easter parade on Thursday.
The children, aged three and four, each made their own Easter bonnet at home.
Play leader, Elaine Varnam, said: "We invited them to surprise us. Usually we make bonnets in a group, but that means we end up with a lot of similar designs."
This time the children came up with very different designs, including a top hat and a gold Easter crown.
Their parade was the highlight of a day in which parents came in to the school, taking part in a raffle as well as taking the opportunity to have a coffee and chat.
Winner of the competition for the best bonnet was three-year-old Chloe Stevens, with her sunflower hat.
Mrs Varnam said: "It was lovely, a really pretty hat. They were all lovely."
The children are now on their Easter holidays but when they return next term they will have the Queen's golden jubilee celebrations to look forward to."
