I am a trainee clinical psychologist in my final year of a doctoral course at Exeter University. I am conducting a piece of research which aims to understand how children and young people are thinking and feeling three months to a year after a road traffic accident or other serious accident.
I would like to speak to children and young people aged between 11 and 18 years of age who have been the victim of an accident in the last year. I will be conducting informal interviews, with the consent of the parent and young person.
They will last about an hour and will aim to find out how the child or young person has been coping since the accident.
Those interested in taking part can contact me via Glen Bauer, Doctorate in Clinical and Community Psychology, Washington Singer Laboratories, Exeter University, Perry Road, Exeter EX4 4QG. Tel: (01392) 264622 or e-mail me at J.C.Langsford@exeter.ac.uk
