POLICE are concerned for the welfare of a resident of a Swindon Salvation Army Hostel who has disappeared.
Anthony Fryer, 53, was last seen at Davis House, in Turl Street, on Saturday, March 16 when he told staff he was going away for a few days.
He has failed to return and has not contacted staff or other residents at the hostel.
It is believed he had no money on him but did take his belongings with him, including a home-made blue and cream coloured trolley on wheels.
Mr Fryer has learning difficulties and takes medication for a health problem. Due to his learning difficulties he is not able to take his own medication.
It is believed he likes to visit Bath and Weston-Super-Mare and may have gone there, though he does not have any known friends or family in those areas. Mr Fryer is described as white, 5ft 7ins tall, stocky build, short ginger/fair hair and was last seen wearing a green jacket and tracksuit bottoms.
Police spokesman, Alvina Kumar, said: "We are very concerned and would urge anyone who has seen him or knows his current whereabouts to contact police on 528111."
