Dog bin vandals are spreading diseases, according to Swindon council's dog warden, Kay Giblett.
Those who vandalise dog-waste bins are not only damaging the environment but also residents' health.
The substance doing the damage, Toxicara, is a round worm commonly found in cat and dog faeces if the animals are not regularly wormed.
To make matters worse, the vandals have taken to emptying dog bins onto roads, into cars and on gardens, further endangering public health.
