THANK you for all your reports in the past about NTL not cancelling cable services and then billing ex-customers and sending them threatening letters.
It made me know what to expect when we tried to cancel our service at the start of the year.
Yes, they totally ignored the cancellation letter and today we received one of their threatening court action letters.
Because other Evening Advertiser readers have had so much trouble getting through on the phone I haven't even bothered to try that, so I have sent them yet another letter enclosing a copy of the first letter cancelling the service in the hope that they might sort it out.
At least I knew it would happen and so wasn't worried by the tone of the threatening letter, though I might have been had I not seen reports in your paper over the past few months.
However it didn't stop me getting extremely angry.
