ANY efforts to prevent our teenagers from taking drugs have to be welcomed.
It is a shocking fact that almost half of the UK's young people have tried drugs, and most experiment in their early teens. And with Ecstasy now available for as little as £4 per pill, youngsters can now buy 'E's with their pocket money.
So we are 100 per cent behind the seminar being held in Stanton Fitzwarren later this month, to update professionals on which drugs are currently in vogue and advise them on how to educate young people of the dangers.
The more we can do convince teens that drugs are not trendy, the better.
