CAKE baking is how a group of schoolgirls from Moredon Junior School is raising money for the special care baby unit at Princess Margaret Hospital.
Year six pupils Louisa Thomas, Carla Ashley, Scarlet Ford, Gemma Gulliver and Rebecca Easton have been making cakes at home and selling them at school during their breaks.
They have already raised £50 even though the cakes only cost 10p or 15p.
Ten-year-old Louisa said: "It only took us two weeks to get £50 so we might carry on for another three weeks."
