MP JAMES GRAY (Evening Advertiser March 27) hits the nail on the head when he suggests that there are bigger areas of concern than the furore over fox hunting and it is time this Government spent its time on sorting out the main issues that concern so many of us.
I am not a hunting man, but I am a country boy (an old country boy, I must admit) and the hounds and horses are part of the country and long may it remain so.
Finally, I would assume that if hunting is banned the protesters will ensure that all the hounds and horses are given good homes in their residences, as the alternative would appear to be the destruction of all those animals that will no longer be needed, or is that taking the care of animals too far for the anti-hunt brigade?
Even MP Julia Drown has to reluctantly admit that there are much more pressing duties than the issue of fox hunting.
