A SPORTING session on Saturday mornings has been saved from closure with the help of a grant from the Co-op.
The Sport on Saturday Club is enjoyed by disabled people every week, but was under threat of closure due to a shortage of cash.
But its sessions will now continue at the Haydon Centre after it received a £1,000 community dividend grant from Oxford, Swindon and Gloucester Co-op.
The club used to provide a range of different sports, but could not financially sustain its activities.
