A BATH dance club is calling on former members to join them once again for a 50th Anniversary Dance.
The Old Mill Square Dance Club, which regularly meets at Manvers Street Baptist Church in Bath said it is looking for old friends to join them at a big dance this Saturday at Selwyn Hall in Box.
The club was formerly based at the Old Mill, Batheaston where in 1952 it was set up for lovers of square dancing.
Club secretary Beryl Brooks said: "The craze began when the then Princess Elizabeth was pictured square dancing."
"People came and went and now only a few long-standing members remain. However, the club still meets regularly."
Any past members who wish to attend the dance, call 01225 319558.
