A DECISION on whether there will be further reductions in Town ticket prices is not expected until the end of the week.
Directors met yesterday afternoon to discuss the issue but emerged witout having reached agreement.
Supporters were bitterly unhappy when the club revealed prices for the 2002/3 campaign.
An adult season ticket in the Arkells and Nationwide stands was set at £410, a 100 per cent increase for a minority of fans.
After pressure from supporters, the board reconsidered and those purchasing their tickets before May 20 were offered a 15 per cent discount.
That appeared to be enough to appease some fans but not those who buy their tickets on a match-by-match basis.
Speaking after last night's meeting Mr Holt was not in a position to make any formal announcement.
He said: "All I can really say is that the board met and a lot of talking went on.
"Unfortunately there is nothing definite to say at this stage."
There was speculation over the weekend that reductions for those buying season tickets in the wings were among the items to be discussed.
Another option was to reward those who buy tickets ahead of matchday.
But exactly what, if any, discounts will be on offer remains to be seen.
A reminder that a sporting dinner with Peter Osgood takes place at the County Ground on Thursday, May 16.
