THE seventh Holt Music Festival will coincide with the celebrations for the Queen's golden jubilee.
The festival will be held on Saturday June 1 on the playing field, and there will be a lunchtime celebration on the Sunday.
This year organisers are concentrating on a traditional and nostalgic theme, with a fete, stalls and games, a magician and fairground rides.
The main attraction will be the live music and dancing in the marquee, starting at 2pm on Saturday.
During the afternoon the Dave Southall Big Band will perform music from the big band era of the '40s and '50s.
Holt Morris and friends will also perform during the afternoon.
The mood will change in the evening when the Dynamo's Rhythm Aces will take to the stage at 7.30pm.
The trio plays well known hits with a difference every song is played in swing, R&B or hillbilly style.
The evening will finish with Fatman Swings, at 9.30pm. The eight-piece band are a lively act offering jive, swing, boogie and R&B.
The Sunday entertainment will be somewhat quieter with a pig roast, and a bring and share lunch on the playing field.
Local performers will provide some entertainment, including dancing from 1952 and 2002.
Proceeds will go to the village hall.
