DEVIZES Town Council has appealed for help in finding a new site for the skateboard park which had to be removed from Hillworth Park.
Resident Bill Richardson won a case against the town council and as a result the skateboard equipment had to be removed from the area close to his home.
The equipment is being stored but pressure is mounting from skateboarders to find somewhere else to put it up.
Simon Fisher, the town council manager, said: "We are looking very hard for an alternative site but it is not easy.
"A lot of land we have looked at is earmarked for development.
"The owners are not happy about having a skateboard park there for one reason or another.
"Until we find a site there is not much we can do," he said.
"We are now asking members of the community to let us know if they have a piece of land on which they would be prepared to put the equipment."
At the moment, skateboarders are using car parks around the town and school playgrounds to practise their sport.
But they say this is not ideal and want a permanent skate park in the town and have already suggested possible sites.
Anyone who can help should contact the town council on (01380) 722141.
