A GROUP of young people with disabilities plan to celebrate their latest adventures during a special evening.
Pathfinders is a Swindon-based charity whose members currently range in age from 12 to 25.
They each team up with a non-disabled supporter on a one-to-one basis.
Recent adventures have included white water rafting in the French Pyrenees last year and earlier this year, members joined a tall ship crew navigating the Canary Islands.
Now the group has invited friends and supporters to a presentation and social evening at the Haydon Centre in Thames Avenue, Haydon Wick, running from 7-11pm on Saturday, May 18.
Pathfinders chairwoman Jean Clifford said: "The members show some able-bodied youngsters up. "They never grumble about their disabilities or use them as an excuse.
"And whatever the members do, the helpers also do, so I'm just dreading that they're going to say they want to go underwater, because I'm not doing that."
Anybody who needs to get in touch with Pathfinders can contact Mrs Clifford on Swindon 706270.
