I FEEL that once again I must respond to C J Lowry's ill informed letter (EA, April 30). The reason that a majority of the parents who applied for Bradon Forest did so was because historically the primary schools that their children attend are feeder schools for Bradon Forest.
The form given to parents asking them for their preference only gave two choices of schools, Greendown or Bradon Forest, and it does not need one of our "little geniuses" to work out which is our second choice if we stated a preference.
As for the suggestion that all schools should receive the same funding, how on earth could a school with 1,200 pupils be administered if it was given the same funds as a school with 250 pupils. What an absurd idea.
