WHAT is it that D Smith (Letters, May 7) is trying to say to us all in his/her letter?
As an adult, he/she made a choice to bid for a place for their son at Braden Forest in Purton; this was unsuccessful. If a bid had been made for Greendown School in West Swindon, the school that is in their catchment area, it would have put their son ahead of others from outside the catchment area.
So come on Mr/Mrs Smith, stop giving everyone a hard time and admit you made a big mistake and were the author of your own hell. As a pioneer in gambling with your child's future, you are bound to make mistakes, just accept it and get on with life. Your son will have to.
