A CHARITY drive in memory of eight-month-old Rhiannon Humphries will kick-off this month.
Mother Kirsty Brookes, 27, hopes to raise money for a specialist hospital baby unit in memory of her baby daughter who died last year.
Miss Brookes, of Awdry Avenue, in Melksham, is hosting a charity fundraising evening at the Mount Pleasant Centre, in Bradford on Avon, on May 24.
Raffles, competitions and treasure hunts will be included in the charity event.
Baby Rhiannon died last March from kidney failure. The charity event will take place the month before what would have been her second birthday.
Miss Brookes who has three other children Nathan, 10, Liam, seven and Kieron, five said she hoped people would support the event in memory of her daughter.
She said: "It is helping me keep her memories alive.
"At the moment I have this to concentrate on which is positive but I don't know how I am going to feel after all the hype has died down."
Tickets to the charity evening are priced at 50p and can be bought on the night.
Anyone wanting to donate raffle prizes or help raise money for the special care baby unit at the Royal United Hospital in Bath can contact the Wiltshire Times on (01225) 352484.
