I WOULD like to say many thanks to the wonderful people from the Bradford on Avon Community and Rehabilitation team.
Since leaving hospital, after having a mini stroke, these kind and caring people have been giving me help at home, which has been invaluable. Let us hope that Bradford on Avon hospital will always be there.
IRENE STEVENS,
Jones Hill,
Bradford on Avon.
MAY I express my sincere thanks and gratitude to all those in the north Wiltshire area who contributed to a house-to-house collection between November 17 and December 2, 2001 for The National Kidney Research Fund.
The total sum raised was £3,749.68 and will be used for research into renal disease, kidney patient care and welfare, including the provision of renal equipment, promotion of the organ donor card, and raising the public's awareness of the extent of kidney-related disease.
One in five people are affected by kidney problems, and 22 children each day are born with kidney-related ailments.
MAUREEN HARBOUR,
The National Kidney Research Fund.
