Visitors to the Watermill at Rode had a sneak preview of a drama group's new production.
Members of the Trowbridge Amateur Operatic Society stepped out in style on Friday evening wearing costumes from the early 1900s for a photocall of the musical comedy, The Card.
The Card is an adaption of Arnold Bennett's 1911 novel set in the Stoke on Trent area of the Potteries .
Director Paul Butler brought the cast to the Watermill to provide a backdrop for the publicity pictures.
He said: "Early evening diners were delighted to watch the set come together as we posed for photographs depicting the scene from 1910 including a scene where Duchess has a lift on a tricycle, thanks to The Lock Inn cycle shop which lent us the prop."
The production will be presented at the Civic Hall, Trowbridge from May 21-25, at 7.30pm. Tickets are available from the Tourist Information Office at £8, £7 and £4, or by telephoning (01225) 777054.
