GOOD news this week for Wiltshire villagers worried about crime in their communities, with the launch of Wiltshire police's mobile inquiry office, which will visit 30 villages on a six-week rota.
Reports from test runs show the mobile office, a specially equipped police car staffed by a community beat officer, has been appreciated by users.
Once every six weeks may not seem often but let's not forget the mobile skip service in west Wiltshire once did wonders to help keep our communities tidy. So come on, use the mobile police stations and do your bit to keep criminals out of our rural communities.
