SWINDON rail passengers will be able to travel on more trains to more places when First Great Western launches its summer timetable.
The firm will run more than 200 services each weekday between London Paddington, the South West and Wales.
Services development manager David Mathieson said: "We've been able to introduce these extra and extended services as we start to introduce our new £80m fleet of Adelante trains.
"It means customers can take advantage of a much better timetable, both in the journey options available to them and the reliability of our services."
The new timetable runs from June 2 to September 28.
Extra services calling at Swindon include:
The 4.15pm from Paddington, calling at Swindon at 5.16pm and continuing as far as Plymouth instead of the usual Bristol.
A high speed 8.40am train from Plymouth, calling at Swindon at 12.30pm and terminating at Paddington.
Adelantes leaving Cardiff for Paddington at 9.55am and 4.55pm, and calling at Swindon at 11am and 6.01pm.
A 1.30pm Adelante from Paddington to Cardiff, calling at Swindon at 2.30pm.
Extra weekday Paddington to Bristol Temple Meads services at 11.15am and 1.15pm, calling at Swindon at 12.10pm and 2.15pm.
