CRICKLADE youngster Liam Kemble-Young is hoping to go on a dream trip to explore the rainforests of Central America and work with giant turtles.
The 13-year-old, who lives in Pike House Close, is looking for businesses and individuals to help him raise £1,000 towards the cost of the trip to Costa Rica next April.
The adventure is being organised by Liam's school, the Royal National Institute for the Blind New College in Worcester, which has been holding various fundraising events.
Liam, who has been registered blind since birth, says the expedition will be a dream come true if he can raise enough money.
He said: "It would be a fantastic experience for me but the journey is going to cost a lot of money so I am trying to find local support to help me raise £1,000 towards the cost."
Liam and his friends will get the chance to work on an environmental project with giant turtles in Costa Rica and encounter the smells and sounds of the rainforest.
Anyone who wishes to help Liam can contact him on Swindon 752189.
