Swindon put their opening-day defeat against Apperley behind them, as they recorded an excellent seven-wicket victory at Devizes in their Glos & Wilts Division 1 match.
The hosts elected to bat first and began at a quick rate, until Hussain bowled Stobbart in the fourth over with the score on 29.
While Pete Stinchcombe was keeping one end relatively quiet, the expensive Hussain was subsequently replaced by Jon Sumner, and the medium-pacer quickly accounted for Colyer, who had made a rapid 26.
Hodder and Hillyard then began to impose themselves on the Swindon attack and the pair took the score past the 100 mark by the end of the 23rd over, as Devizes looked set for a large total.
In the search for much needed wickets, captain Will Nichols made a double change, introducing himself and leg-spinner Mo Zohaib to the attack. The decision soon paid dividends as Nichols removed Hodder, caught behind by Baker for 31, and Muse bowled for nought, in consecutive deliveries, as Devizes were reduced to 102-4.
The key wicket of Hillyard fell a few overs later to Zohaib.
Three further quick wickets fell, and only a late flurry from Hickey enabled Devizes to reach 179 all out, as Nichols finished with 4-34 and Zohaib 3-39.
After their failure to chase a similar target last week, Swindon needed a solid start, but lost Paul Baden in the fourth over, without scoring. Young Gavin Woodward and John Baden then started to build a match-winning foundation, with both batting patiently, before the latter increased the tempo.
The pair forged a century partnership, before Woodward was bowled by Stobbart for 40.
Matt Baker went soon after but Baden was joined by skipper Nichols and the pair added the required 50 runs with ease, Baden finishing unbeaten on 84 and Nichols on 23.
The second string, meanwhile, secured an emphatic 10-wicket victory over their Devizes counterparts.
The game lasted only 20 overs, as Devizes were dismissed for a paltry 31, with Stuart Cock taking a career best 7-16 and Roger Willougby completing the rout with 3-12.
